Funds needed.

Hart to Heart Social development Inc. a non-profit organization that provides services to the unhoused homeless population here in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. At present, we are providing services such as weekly food bags, winter clothing, tents, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, transportation when needed and other items of need to 47 unhoused individuals. We have been paying out of pocket for almost everything we have been providing to the homeless population. But that has become untenable moving forward because I have recently lost my job and can no longer contribute to the purchasing of the necessary items. 

     Our primary goal is to acquire land and build a transitional housing community that will also include office space to facilitate the implementation of all services that are needed to help in the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Our most pressing need is assistance with obtaining $ 5,000.00 to move into our office space located at 850 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013. $ 2,840.00 is what is needed to satisfy the first month and security deposit and the remaining balance of $ 2,160.00 would be utilized to repair the screw holes left in the walls by the last tenant, and acquire office equipment to start our operations. 

     We are in desperate need of help to reach this financial goal because it would place our organization in a position to offer a much wider range of services that would include, but would not be limited to, referral services to established drug and alcohol treatment agencies, referrals to mental health treatment agencies, monthly food box distribution to the elderly population that are experiencing food insecurity. Our ability to provide these services along with a wide range of other services would multiply exponentially once we are in the office space.

     The homeless individuals that we provide services to, and everyone within our organization would be eternally grateful for any help that the religious community can provide.
